The Apostles Arrested Again
- The high priest and his associates were jealous of the apostles and arrested them.
- An angel freed the apostles from jail, and they continued preaching.
Gamaliel’s Advice
- A Pharisee named Gamaliel advised the Sanhedrin to leave the apostles alone.
- He warned that if their mission was from God, it could not be stopped.
Rejoicing in Suffering
- After being flogged, the apostles rejoiced because they were counted worthy to suffer for the name of Jesus.
- They never stopped teaching and proclaiming the Gospel.
Life Applications:
- Be persistent in sharing your faith, even when faced with persecution.
- Understand that God’s plan cannot be stopped, no matter the opposition.
- Rejoice in the opportunity to suffer for Jesus’ name, knowing that it is a privilege.
