Criticism from Jewish Believers
- When Peter returned to Jerusalem, some Jewish believers criticized him for eating with Gentiles.
- They did not understand why Peter would associate with people who were not Jewish.
Peter’s Explanation
- Peter explained his vision and how the Holy Spirit had come upon the Gentiles, just as it had on the Jews at Pentecost.
- He made it clear that God was leading him to include the Gentiles in the faith.
Acceptance of Gentiles
- After hearing Peter’s story, the believers in Jerusalem praised God and accepted that salvation was also for the Gentiles.
