Paul Meets Aquila and Priscilla
- In Corinth, Paul met a Jewish couple, Aquila and Priscilla, who had been expelled from Rome. Paul worked with them as a tentmaker, building a relationship that would later become vital for ministry.
Preaching in the Synagogue
- As usual, Paul began by preaching in the synagogue, testifying that Jesus was the Messiah. When some Jews opposed him, Paul turned his focus to the Gentiles.
Encouragement from the Lord
- The Lord appeared to Paul in a vision, encouraging him not to be afraid but to continue preaching because there were many people in Corinth who would come to faith.
Paul’s Perseverance
- Paul stayed in Corinth for 18 months, teaching the Word of God. Even when opposition arose, he remained steadfast, trusting in God’s promise of protection and provision.
