Week 39: Paul’s Farewell to the Ephesian Elders

Paul’s Journey Continues
- After the riot in Ephesus, Paul traveled through Macedonia and Greece, strengthening the disciples. He eventually decided to sail past Ephesus to avoid delay but summoned the elders from the church there to meet him in Miletus.
Paul’s Farewell Speech
- Paul reminded the elders of his ministry among them, emphasizing his humble service, perseverance, and boldness in preaching the Gospel. He warned them of false teachers who would arise and encouraged them to watch over the flock.
- Paul shared his conviction that he would not see them again, and they prayed together before Paul departed, filled with sorrow over his departure.
