The Conspiracy Against Paul

  • A group of more than 40 Jews conspired to kill Paul, swearing an oath not to eat or drink until they had done so. They plotted to have Paul brought before the council again and planned to ambush him on the way.

The Plot Discovered

  • Paul’s nephew overheard the plot and informed Paul. Paul then instructed his nephew to report the conspiracy to the Roman commander.

Paul’s Safe Transfer to Caesarea

  • The Roman commander, realizing the danger, arranged for Paul to be escorted by a large group of soldiers to the governor Felix in Caesarea, ensuring his safety.
